TATARSTAN HARVESTS 3.7 MILLION TONNES OF GRAIN

As the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov has said, grain harvest is almost finished on the area of 1.3 million ha. 3.7 million tonnes of grain have been threshed, with an average yield of 27.8 centners/ ha. Farmers still have to thresh maize grain on the area of 38 thousand ha.
The leader among districts is Tetyushi District, where 172 thousand tonnes of grain have been threshed. Among top 5 are also Kukmor District, Kaybitsy District, and Tukayevsky District. Among the growers, AGROSILA ranks the first in the volume of threshed grain.
